Scratch resistance both sides of the lens protects the lens material and the anti-fog from rubbing off.  The one piece mask inside there is no scratch resistant coating and anti-fog coating rubs off.  Not ours.
The design and materials
Why we use wire and polycarbonate.  The straight answer is we can offer a superior design for better vision, zero fogging, airflow and reliability and the lens are better that the one piece all plastic lens because they are replaceable and have anti-fog and scratch resistant coatings on both sides.  That is not the case with the one piece masks.   By the way if this guy in the full beard cannot make it fog you certainly won't.
Why we don't use all plastic masks frames anymore
The all plastic mask trap air because the bars are thick and don't allow enough airflow.   Our lens offer the best vision possible while giving you convection airflow so necessary for inhaling and exhaling while skating or on the bench.   Let's all be serious about protection the players face first, and upper face area with the best lens and advance coatings available.   And our lens are made in Denver, Colorado, USA.
Sizing:   This mask fits all masks and helmet sizes for adult players.  All players above 10 need to wear an adult approve HECC or CSA impact full face mask.    All our models are adult impact tested.  The lens for both Zero Plus models are exactly the same.

The Zero Plus Senior Adult full face Shield was designed with input from D-1 equipment managers, coaches, prep and youth hockey professionals and approved for all levels of play. Avision Ahead Hockey Shields come complete with mounting screws and J-bars and mounts with a screwdriver.
