Overview
The
CCM JetSpeed FT390 Shoulder Pads
were built for the player who wants elite protection, moisture-management and mobility with a featherlight, low-profile fit. CCM completely redesigned the front and rear panels with their high-mobility construction, which allows for a better range of motion since both layers can move independently of one another. This also ensures protection is always where it needs to be.
The sternum plate, the spine plate, and the shoulder caps utilize a very protective closed-cell EVA foam and molded PE shells. EVA's unique design actually repels water away from the pad to keep it from getting absorbed, making sure the pad stays dry and lightweight all game long. The upgraded Dual-Zone laminated liner with DryFoam Technology also helps to manage moisture in the FT390 while providing top-tier comfort and durability too.
Segmented PE inserts make up the FT390's premium collarbone guard. The floating construction allows it to twist and turn with a player for the ultimate range of motion. Like the collarbone guard, the shoulder caps are anchored body of the pad with elastic straps, which is quite a unique design and is geared for maximum mobility.
