Exhilarating performance and handling, over 400 horsepower in a 2,500 lb car! This is #4 of only 39 Daytona roadsters ever made by Factory Five. Only 3,600 miles since built in 2005.
EXTERIOR: It has the Shelby Daytona characteristics in a convertible. Lightweight fiberglass body. Upfront it has a tilt front end, projector beam headlamps and fog lamps. There is an air extractor in the hood, mesh grills on each side and chrome lever hood releases. It also has Cobra emblems and a bullet mirror on the driver side. It has a dovetail back end, round Lucas tail lights and a pop up gas cap. New 17 inch Enkei wheels with performance tires, extra wide in back. Has Dual side exhaust on each side that roar.
INTERIOR: Genuine racing safety seats with Simpson racing belts will keep you in place as your carving up the curves. Upholstered door panels with door pockets and cup holders. The center console is upholstered and has been a short throw shifter with a cool billet handle. It also has an emergency brake lever. Vintage style toggle switches for the fans, fuel pump and ignition. It has a push button starter. It also has a complete set of Pro Comp gauges and a built in shift light. The floors are carpeted. The dash is upholstered. It has a cushion grip leather steering wheel with wireless headlight and turn signal controls in the hub.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Bored and stroked 347 cubic inch motor making over 400 hp. It has 10.5:1 compression, Trick Flow twisted wedge aluminum heads, Anderson N91 high rev cam, Edelbrock aluminum intake with a new chromed dual feed Holley carb. It has 4 in to 2 Jet Hot ceramic coated headers and an MSD ignition system. A Griffin aluminum radiator, big electric fan, stainless hoses and an Evans water pump keeps it cool. The firewall is wrapped in insulation to help keep the cockpit cool. It has power steering with a remote cooler and serpentine belt system. New master cylinder, working horns.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is lined with sound deadener and the floor is carpeted. An assembly manual is included.
UNDERSIDE: Very substantial tubular frame. Independent front suspension with coilover shocks, rack & pinion steering. In back it has a three link system panhard bar and pro shock coilover with Koni coilover adjustable shocks. Wilwood dynalite 4-piston big brake kit in front and Mustang Cobra disc in back brakes at all four wheels. Custom stomped fuel tank fuel system with premium fittings, fuel line and electric pump. The bottom of the motor has an Canton 8 quart oil pan with baffles extra capacity oil pan and a high torque starter. It has a Tremec TR550 5-speed transmission and a ram HD clutch. 8.8 Ford rear end with posi gears and 28 spline hardened axles. The floors are laser cut aluminum.
Factory Five Racing is a very reputable builder of performance cars. They build cars to look good and perform. Their chassis are engineered like race cars.
This one is titled as a 1965 Special Roadster. It is a clean title with a clean state issued vin.

The roar of the pipes, shifting those gears through the turns with wind blowing through your hair. That's something you can't do in a Daytona coupe, they only have small plexiglass windows that slide open. Sounds like fun, doesn't it?
